The structure of Resolver is similar to that of two-phase winding induction motor, which can be divided into two parts: stator and rotor. The stator winding is the primary side of the transformer and the rotor winding is the secondary side of the transformer. The excitation voltage is connected to the rotor winding, and the electromotive force is output by the stator winding. Common excitation frequency is 400 HZ, 500 Hz, 1000 HZ and 5000 hz. The iron cores of the stator and rotor are made of ferronickel soft magnetic alloy or silicon steel sheet. Their windings are respectively embedded in their respective grooved cores. The stator winding is directly drawn out through a terminal post fixed on the shell. There are two different ways to lead out the rotor windings. According to the rotor winding two different ways of extraction, rotating transformer is divided into brush type and brushless type two structural forms. Brush-type rotating transformer: its Rotor windings are directly drawn out by slip rings and electric brushes, which is characterized by simple structure and small volume, but because the brush and the slip ring are in mechanical sliding contact, the reliability of the rotating transformer is poor and the life is short. Brushless rotary transformer: It is divided into two parts, namely, Rotary Transformer Body and additional transformer. The primary and secondary side cores and their coils of the additional transformer are ring-shaped and are respectively fixed on the rotor shaft and the casing with a certain radial clearance. The rotor windings of the rotating transformer body are connected with the primary side windings of the additional transformer. The electrical signals in the primary side windings of the additional transformer, that is, the electrical signals in the rotor windings, are electromagnetically coupled, it is sent indirectly through the auxiliary side Coil of the additional transformer. This structure avoids the bad contact between the brush and the slip ring, improves the reliability and service life of the Resolver, but its volume, quality and cost are increased. Common rotating transformer: There are generally two-pole winding and four-pole winding two structural forms. The stator and rotor of the two-pole winding rotating transformer have a pair of magnetic poles, while the four-pole winding has two pairs of magnetic poles. In addition, there are multi-pole rotary transformers for high-precision absolute detection system. The rotary transformer has the advantages of simple structure, sensitive action, no special requirement for environment, convenient maintenance, large output signal amplitude, strong anti-interference and reliable operation. Therefore, it is widely used in CNC machine tools. The commonly used resolver is a two-pole resolver, whose stator and rotor windings have two windings which are perpendicular to each other. In addition, there is a multi-pole rotary transformer. Two kinds of rotating transformers with few pairs of Poles and many pairs of Poles can be made on a magnetic circuit and installed in a casing to form a "rough measurement" and "precision measurement" double-channel detecting device for electrical speed change, used for high precision measurement system and synchronous system.
