Transformers installed in civil buildings should be dry-type, gas insulated or non combustible liquid insulated. When the oil quantity of a single transformer is 100kg or more, a separate transformer room shall be set.
Analysis: according to the investigation, the distribution transformers in the attached distribution substation in civil buildings are all dry-type transformers. At present, non combustible liquid insulated transformer has been produced in the world. Although there is no such product in China, the possibility of successful trial production or introduction is not ruled out. For gas insulated dry-type transformer, it is not suitable to use in the wet areas in the South and the dry areas in the north of China, because when the transformer stops running, the insulation level of the transformer drops seriously, and it is difficult to resume normal operation without taking measures.
