On the morning of June 27, the completion and handover ceremony of the "bright village" corporate social responsibility public welfare project of State Grid Corporation of the Philippines was held in San Marcelino City, sanphlis Province, the Philippines, bringing light to more than 1000 people without electricity in the remote mountainous areas of northern Philippines. The project is the first large-scale corporate social responsibility public welfare project carried out by Chinese enterprises in the Philippines. Jiang Jianjun, commercial counselor of the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines, Benito frank, Vice Minister of energy of the Philippines, Edgardo Ma Songsong, director of the Philippine Electrification Administration, Zhu Guangchao, deputy chief engineer and director of International Cooperation Department of the company, and San, the location of the project More than 800 people, including mayor Marcelino, general manager of local power cooperatives, residents of two villages and teachers and students of two primary schools, participated in the activity.
"Guangming Village" project is located in baliwet village and old baliwet village, sanbulis Province, Luzon Island, Philippines. Two sets of photovoltaic microgrid systems are constructed by State Grid Corporation of China, and the power supply is realized by centralized power supply to meet the power demand of local Aboriginal families. The project has a power generation capacity of 76 kW and a battery energy storage capacity of 432 kwh, which can benefit more than 1000 local people, including 108 students from two primary schools.
The project is organized and implemented by the State Grid International Corporation and the office in the Philippines, and undertaken by NARI Group. The project started on January 24 this year, and was officially completed on June 27 and handed over to local power cooperatives. The "one belt, one road" Project advocates the win-win situation of "bright and light country" project, adhering to the idea of "lighting the life and sharing the future", promoting the sustainable development of the local area with clean and green energy, and promoting the common development and progress of China and Philippines and creating a better future together.
