Fire hazard of transformer
1. the transformer internal short circuit and grounding fault, nearby cable fire, external short circuit, discharge of transformer, fire and explosion may cause transformer fire accident.
2. the transformer fire accident may cause serious damage to the transformer, which causes the unit to be shut down. In case of serious, the power supply to the internal and external may be stopped completely.
3. explosion and injury to surrounding personnel and facilities may occur after the transformer is on fire. The toxic smoke will pollute the air in the plant, cause personal poisoning, suffocation and other personal casualties.
Dry type transformer fire fighting
The personnel who have found the fire shall report to the shift supervisor immediately. The on-site personnel shall first disconnect the power supply, stop the cooler and use the fire extinguishing device quickly. Once the transformer is on fire, it shall be isolated from the system immediately. If it is not possible to isolate, dry type fire extinguisher, carbon dioxide extinguisher and other fire extinguishers shall be used for fire suppression.
1. if it is not tripped
Immediately open the switch switch on each side of the transformer. If the safety operation of adjacent equipment is endangered, the operation of adjacent equipment shall be stopped in time;
2. cooling system shutdown;
3. check whether the fire deluge valve operates normally, otherwise try to put in fire water or use fire fighting equipment to extinguish the fire as appropriate. Dry type fire extinguisher shall be used for fire fighting.
