A power transformer is a stopped electrical device that converts a value of a communication voltage (current) into another or more values of a different voltage (current) with the same frequency.
According to the "2015-2020 China Power Transformer Occupation Market Needs Forecast and Investment Strategic Planning analysis Report" released by Foresight Industry Research Institute, the data shows that at present, the electricity consumed by all transformers in China accounts for 3%~10% of the national generating capacity. In the distribution network loss, the transformer loss accounts for 40%~60%, and the energy saving potential is infinite.
Transformers are the key electrical equipment for power transmission, because there are so many of them, the power consumed by transformers themselves is also considerable. Timing maintenance of power transformers has many advantages, mainly reflected in the following aspects:
1, high and low voltage insulation resistance of less than 70% of the original factory value (10 m Ω), winding dc resistance in the same temperature, the difference between the three phase average should not be greater than 2%, compared with the results of the last measurement should not greater than 2%.
2. The cycle of power failure cleaning and inspection is generally half a year to once a year according to the surrounding environment and load conditions.
3. Oil sample test -- the performance indicators such as pressure resistance and impurities shall be conducted once every three years. The transformer can be shortened for long-term full load or overload operation.
4. Grounding resistance value of transformer shall be measured every two years.
In recent years, China's power needs have grown rapidly, with the rapid construction and financing of power grids driving demand for power transmission and transformation equipment. The huge power construction investment brings opportunities and challenges to the transformer profession, which promotes the transformer profession to develop rapidly.
