On April 20, the company's Science and Technology Project "electromagnetic environmental test and research on ± 1100 KV High-voltage direct current#Back to back circuits" led by the Chinese Academy of Electric Power passed the acceptance test. The project has made important achievements in "experimental study on radio interference and audible noise of ± 1100 kv split conductor based on DC CORONA CAGE" and "experimental study on electromagnetic environment of ± 1100 KV DC line with primary conductor selection" . In recent years, with the construction and operation of High-voltage direct current#Back to back transmission lines, the problem of electromagnetic environment caused by corona of DC transmission lines has received wide attention. The method and range of the parameters such as ion mobility and recombination rate of DC line are obtained, and the calculation method of the synthetic electric field which is more suitable to the actual situation is given, the formulae for predicting the audible noise and radio interference of ± 1100 KV DC lines, which are suitable for 6-splitting, 8-splitting and with a section of less than 1000 square MM, are derived, the minimum pole spacing, the minimum height to the ground and the corridor width are determined. The research results of the project have been applied to the High-voltage direct current#Back to back line design in east China, and will provide strong technical support for the design of ± 1100 KV UHVDC line in China.
