Suppose the load rate of 1000KVA ordinary power transformer is 60%, that is 600KVA, half of which is used as power load and half as lighting load, that is, the power of lighting load is 300kW (assuming power factor > 0.9). If an enterprise (shopping malls, supermarkets, restaurants, hotels, office buildings, etc.) uses electricity for 10 hours a day, and the commercial electricity consumption is 1 yuan / kWh, then the daily lighting electricity consumption cost of the enterprise is: 300kW × 10 hours × 1 yuan / kWh = 3000 yuan.

The price of 1000KVA ordinary dry-type power transformer is about 300000 yuan, and the price of 1000KVA energy-saving dry-type power transformer is 350000 yuan. Although the price is 50000 yuan higher, the annual electricity saving is: 300 yuan × 365 days = 109500 yuan.

 

 

 

Three years of electricity saving can buy an energy-saving dry-type power transformer, the power transformer can be used for decades, how much is the cost of saving?

 

 

 

This calculation has not considered the inevitable trend of electricity price rise; and after the use of energy-saving power transformer, the service life of lamps is greatly extended, reducing the cost of replacing lamps and maintenance.
